School Curriculum: Our classes are well-rounded and balanced mind and body fitness program.

Kung Fu philosophy life skills discussed and reinforced throughout the year.

All Classes consist of warm up and cool down exercises plus various workout drills that are rotated from class to class.

Our program Advantage: One of the component of the program is developing physical and athletic skills for better performance in other sports: balance; quick start and stop; hands and feet coordination; changing direction and controlling your speed. This is essential for any sport overall growth development.

1. Little Dragons class Ages 4 to 6
2. Children’s class Ages 6 to 9
3. Young Adults Class Ages 10 to 17
4. Family Martial Arts classes -  Free Trial Class for Whole Family

 

As part of Sidney Fitness wellness program we are providing classes for Saanich Peninsula Schools to promote health, wellness and exercise for kids.

 

Self Defence: Kids learn how to physically defend themselves in a threatening situation.

 

Respect: Kids learn respect for teachers and fellow students, which translates outside the classroom into daily life.

Self Confidence and Self Esteem: As students progress through the belt ranks their belief and confidence grows, competency breeds confidence.

Fitness: Kids build strength and power, forming a good foundation for the future. Healthy physical activity, combined with a sense of achievement, is vital in positively affecting the self perception of a child.

Self Control and Focus: Our program will develop your child’s mental focusing ability. Which will help them to learn and concentrate better at school.

We are located in Saanich Peninsula Sidney, BC at Martman Industrial Park unit 7- 2042 Mills Road West

This new facility is over 1700sft has a welcome reception area, two change rooms, shower, washroom and large training area. Training area has mats to comfort you during your workout.

Sidney Fitness Kung Fu Academy is affiliate of Holland’s Kung Fu Academy located in Colwood.
